We remember the closure of each coaching partnership through the planting of a tree.

This signifies the journey from beginning to end within our coaching experience.  Each step within the journey accumulates to achieve specific milestones which are connected to a greater outcome. Each single thought, action and conversation contributes to a larger behavioural and emotional change. Individual actions can seem inconsequential and insignificant alone. Yet the collective power is transformational and exerts ripples across a greater system.

'The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago. The second best time is now'

Chinese Proverb

The majority of our coaching conversations literally move through the outdoors space. The English countryside filled with broad leaf and coniferous trees, shrubs, bushes and flowers form an essential dimension to co-create the coaching experience. My coaching business is an extension of myself, my passion and purpose to create a more healthy and sustainable approach to life which firmly integrated within organisations & improves our planet.

We’ve only one planet earth so it’s imperative long term sustainability is embedded at the heart of our work and lives. We signify the end of each coaching partnership and celebrate the ongoing change which will continue to emerge by planting a tree through the charities Tree Aid and The National Forest.

Advice From A Tree

'Stand tall and proud

Go out on a limb

Remember your roots

Drink plenty of water

Be content with your natural beauty

Enjoy the view'

I’m unable to quantify my carbon footprint from across my lifetime so far amassed from thousands of miles of international travel and the accumulation of ‘stuff’ from across my career, athletic pursuit and love of travel. I’m conscious the choices I’ve made will have contributed to the degradation of the ozone layer and increased global warming. I'm unable to change the past though looking to the future I'm able to make conscious decisions which hopefully make a positive change to our world.

This desire to connect my coaching business with the world and be a force for good aligns with my core values of love, connection, courage, curiosity and sustainability. We all have a choice and our decision on how to exercise economic spending is an immense power which should not be underestimated.

It’s a win-win collaboration. Trees look after people; when people look after trees.

Tree Support
  • Reduce climate change through the absorption of carbon dioxide and release of oxygen. Every year; an acre of trees absorbs the amount of carbon dioxide equivalent of driving 26,000 miles.

  • Purify the air through the absorption of pollutant gases such as nitrogen oxides, ozone, ammonia and sulphur dioxide.

  • Reinforce soil erosion, increase soil fertility and help soil obtain moisture. Leaves decay into nutrients for tree growth and promote micro-organism  development.

Human Support

  • Reduces stress hormone response and inflammation

  • Mood-boosting effects

  • Improves feelings of happiness and generates creativity

  • Creation ‘kung fu’ fighting killer cells.

  • Decreased risk of heart attack.

  • Protection against obesity and diabetes.

  • More energy and better sleep.

  • Anti-inflammatory terpenes.
